Reinstalled Windows 7, now i have no audio

This problem has had me stomped all day, my computer was infested with viruses so i decided to reset my computer to default, which went off without a hitch, my problem now is that i am baffled at how to get my audio working, it shows a red circle with a X on the speaker icon next to the time and when i go into playback devices, there are 5 Digital Audio (HDMI)'s and they are all unplugged. I have updated my drivers and any other information you need i will try to supply, i really need my audio back so please someone help

But it does not show your motherboard sound in that shot, only HDMI. Did you install the motherboard sound drivers ?

I`m going under the assumption that your default sound output is a mini plug, like 99% of all PC`s.

Strange they would not be there in a factory reset.
