Well that shows the Windows 7 is not see your installation of Realtek.

Try this again from Device Manager.

    *Sound, video, game controler
    *Right tick Realtek
    *Select Update Driver
    *Select Browse my Computer
    *Select Let me pick
*Select Realtek and select yes to the warning.
*Then select NEXT and let it complete.
    *Reboot.

Yeah, no help there either. I missed where you said you already tried the chipset drivers in your first post.

Sorry, I'm at a loss, hopefully someone else will have something for you.

If everything has been done as mattrphill posted, I have no other ideas either.

    Sorry mattrphill

I just noticed I posted the wrong link too, according to the system info file it's a rev. 6.0 board,

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0)

Which does have a different realtek driver. It still only shows HD Audio as the only sound device in the info though.

Is there any reason the OP should not use the latest one, Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version ?

Matt can you paste here your Hardware ID for the device?
