I have been unable to open realtek audio manager no matter how many times it has been installed. It is listed although not visible in sys tray notifications but a search doesn't find it. I have found the file via a manual search, double click and nothng happens. Run as admin the same result.

    Peek at this
Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices

Sounds like the setup.exe is funky or your not using the correct one to install
Post a screen shot of the realtek listing on your cd.

This is the screenshot of the install screen from the disc that came with the mobo. I have installed from the disc, from asus, and from reaktek with the same results each time. Realtek Hd audio manager does not appear in control panel and can't be launched following installation..

If you go to Start Orb and type in audio do you get Realtek HD Audio Manager?

Show us a picture from your system.

Yours should show a newer driver.

Thanks for the response. No, Realtek audio Manager isn't listed. I can find it within program files but double clicking it does nothing..
Here is what I have for the search audio..
