Windows high definition audio device driver cannot be installed

    Hi,

It's been months since I got this 7601 geunine problem and after years of smoothly using my windows 7 from out of the blue this thing land on and I can't fix it even though I tried every possible method.

Anyway with this problem came another problem, whenever I connect my hdmi cable to my tv the video works fine but the audio doesn't work because windows can't install the driver which will later show me an option in the sound control of my lg tv so I can configure it on.I have realtek driver for audio and it has no connection with the cable, and the cable audio did work before when windows was all right.

The driver says the problem code is 0000000A
    driver version is 6.1.7601.17514

Manufactur is Microsoft and not Realtek
    Thanks

    Hi NG1,
As you have an Asus, use the inbuilt Asus updater, it will check all your drivers and tell you what you need, and the option to install.

    Hey,

I did use the inbulit asus program and after update nothing has changed.

I have the 7601 problem, can't hear audio hdmi cable and found out that my lg disk rom can't read disks which it did in past.

I thinking about installing my windows 7 again from scartch cause right now things are not good
