Bluetooth headphones issues in Windows 7

So I have had this issue randomly after not using the Bluetooth headphones for a while. I could simply connect it the normal way and everything will connect and all that no issues at all. When I try to work with my music program, my sound has NO BASS. The sound is clear other than that. The thing about it is, searching forums and the like have yielded instructions to disable the Hands Free Telephony in the services tab of the headphones properties. When I attempt to do that, I get a Bluetooth Service Error saying "The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with" Uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth driver as well as the headphones has not fixed the problem. Neither has a restart. The headphones work fine with any other device. If possible I would not like to reinstall windows 7. That would be a long and tedious process because I would have to find, download and reinstall more than 1tb of data and I dont have time for that. Assistance would be very much appreciated

Hello and welcome guardian715 mate some systems specs would be good System Info - See Your System Specs as it is very hard working with something that is unknown about.

Now for example what are the audio facilities in your machine a on the board or a sound card??

Anyway first up I would be doing these myself
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 in safe mode

    if no go then these

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!
    Malwarebytes | Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium
    AdwCleaner Download
delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If one is running Kaspersky security it may rant about ADW - just ignore it or disable Kaspersky while the ADW is being used)

I have updated my system specs. I have actually found the solution to my issue. It was the headphones themselves. I restored factory settings on them and everything was just fine. Thank you for answering my question anyway. It is much appreciated to see that someone cares about my computer problems.

ts no problem mate and if you want a little more out of your machine have a rad through this - some of the tips will make it run a bit faster and more efficient - if you don't mind losing a bit of the "bling" like transparency (I use it on all my machines)
