window 7 64bit
bootcamp run window 7 64bit, bose QC35 headset not working

My computer: iMac late 2013, OS: window 7 64bit via bootcamp

I had me bootcamp driver installed, BT apply keyboard and magic mouse are working great.

Recently I bought my new headset Bose QuietComfort 35, I can't make it work on my iMac......

My Bose QuietComfort 35:

when it turn to bluetooth pairing mode,
Blue blinking light = ready to pair
White blinking light = connecting
White firm light = connected

My Problem:
1. When my Bose QC35 said "ready to pair",
I use window's add "bluetooth device" successfully discover my Bose QC35

2. I right click the device icon and had it install all the following drivers(services) successfully:

Audio Sink
Handsfree Telephony
Remote Control
Remotely Controllable Devices

(I tried only install Audio Sink or headset or whatever reasonable combintions of above I can think of.)

3. My iMac (win 7 64bit via bootcamp), successfully register my Bose QC35, BUT my Bose QC35,
still blinking blue light mean => "ready to pair"
That means my Bose QC35 can't discover my iMac...............

(Bluetooth Settings "Discovery" and "Connections" sections all box ticked already....)

4. Playback devices shown the icon of my Bose QC35, however:

Bluetooth Headphones
Bluetooth Audio

Bluetooth Headsets
Bluetooth Audio

I CANNOT connect either one of it here

5. I go to "View devices and printers", click on my Bose QC35 icon,
it shown that my PC is connecting to my Bose QC35

Under it, there is a "Operations" section with two buttons:

Listen to Music

Forward VoIP Calls to Handsfree

I Clicked "Listen to Music", NOTHING happen.........

(Of course my Bose QC35 still blinking blue light => read to pair)

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Same issue with Bose soundlink bluetooth headset

I have just received a Bose Soundlink 2 headset, and have the same problem. Running WIN7 x64 on MBP via bootcamp and OS will see headset, add it but not pair. From what I have read it would seem to be a driver issue (not sure if that means Apple or Microsoft issue) and have downloaded different sets and packages of driver suits etc (even broadcomm and other stacks to override microsoft stack) with absolutely nothing working at all. Can anyone PLEASE help? Adds and pairs immediately via bluetooth in OSX but refuses to so far in WIN7 (which I predominately use due to work and study commitments)

win 7 64

Wasting your time. Bose 35 do not work with windows 7 (64) or win 10. I'm at it for months. Going to sell them and got a set that actually works.

Agree it's pretty flaky (connection wise) as there are no robust Bootcamp drivers for my MBP mid2012 but option 3 (see link) is working for me on Bose QC15 with windows 7 (64) using this Bluetooth dongle (which has a terrible battery)

You should use this one (from Acer Aspire 5740) works great, no need to pay/reinstall, complete functionallity, great audio !!!

Just execute Setup.exe no need to reboot and you are done !!!"

I'm not sure how stable this setup is and haven't tested/used it much yet so cannot recommend it just yet especially with the poor battery life of the dongle I'm using but it does work and connect............ sorry I can't comment on the QC35 at all and whether this option works better.

hope this helps someone a bit......

win 7 64
might work!

May work!! After buying 7 dongles, no way I'm trying again!

I give up on bose 35. After spending over 140 euro (just checked) on dongles! They are annoying me looking at them !

No matter lesson learned.

Glad someone got them working. But do a google search, they are 100's of posts, saying bose35 problems connecting to win 7 /10.

No. Give up. Case closed.

I agree and don't blame you either........ what a frustration :-(

I just tested with my setup and the quality with these replacement bluetooth drivers for bootcamp is terrible - unlistenable on spotify & volume controls don't work on dongle. No problem with my android phone (great quality & assume it's OK on macOS when I get around to using it)- it's just the battery on that Bluetooth dongle that is poor though I get a couple of hours listening which is OK for me.

The Bluetooth drivers for Bootcamp need to be written properly (for everyone using this setup) and that Bluetooth dongle battery for QC15 etc needs improving - shame it's the same for QC35 but at least we now know it's not worth trying if you are a bootcamp user. This problem has been around for years so seems unlikely to be fixed unfortunately - thx for posting tho
