Win7 64bit Ult - Audio Stuttering
I recently performed a full reinstall of windows 7 after getting a registry error bsod that I was unable to fix. So far everything works perfectly except for the sound. I'm experiencing severe audio stuttering on almost all applications, both streamed and downloaded audio/video.
I run a 12 ft 3.8mm audio cable to my speaker set and use an hdmi cable to dual screen to my tv, but the tv doesn't play audio. I'm pretty sure that this isn't loss due to cable length, or connection, since I get it when I use my headphones directly to my tower.
I've tried updating my audio drivers but device manager says they are up to date, and since I don't have a sound card, my motherboard's company (Gigabyte) doesn't supply them. I updated Realtek but the issue remained.
The relevant audio drivers are: AMD High Definition Audio Device and Realtek High Defintion Audio
If anyone has any clue what the cause may be, I would be so grateful. The stuttering is driving me insane.
