Audio Buzzing loud after a sound is played.

Hey guys, i've had this problem for a long time and i have NO idea what causes it to do this.

Here is an example of what I mean.

Audio Buzz.wav - Google Drive

I don't know what causes this, it'll do this after a sound stops playing or whatever else.

PC specs:
* Windows 7 Professional 64bit
* Intel Core i7 4790k at 4.0ghz
* 3 hard drives totaling up to 3TB
* Nvidia Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080 8GB
*32 gigs of corsair vengeance pro ram
*Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" WQHD (2560x1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Display 144hz(Primary Montior)
*Asus VX24A 23.8" 1440p LCD Monitor(Main Monitor)

That was my first thought. I'm a guitar amp tech and if something is loose, bad connection, bad cable, etc it would cause noise such as that from an amp.

that's odd, my motherboard is an asus z-97a and to be fair it happened on a previous motherboard too, but i don't think it's the motherboard though, kinda crazy that same problem would show up on a brand new motherboard too out of no where.

That sort of agrees with what I said, that possibly an input is causing it. If you used the same case with the new motherboard, could be the front panel mic connection. Or if you use the same input devices (e.g. mic).

Mute any input port and/or device and then see if it still happens.

well i did use the same case with a new board, however there is no front panel mic connection on this case however. all my connections are in the back.

also my MIC is a USB blue yeti. so it doesn't even connect to that at all and this happened even before i had my blue yeti.

do you think maybe it could be my speakers?

If you have a headset, disconnect the speakers and connect the headset to the GREEN speaker jack on the rear and see if you still get the noise.
