What is the purpose of selecting a devices supported formats in Windows 7 Sound settings? What effect will that have?

What "Cakewalk" is this from? I have Cakewalk "Sonar" and do not have this.

But, that appears to be a setup for a Digital sound output. Able to set it for the device you have attached to the S/PDIF digital out.

It's a Cakewalk Roland speaker monitor MA-15D.

I don't understand what the purpose is for selecting the supported sample rates, etc.. All the various sample rate and bit depth options are already available in the Advanced tab.

That is for "shared" mode and is different. I've never seen that make a difference.
The Roland/Cakewalk speakers have been discontinued (years ago). I can't find the spec's for these studio monitors.

Hi. I was wondering if I upgrade to Windows 7 will I loose my Microsoft office suite? Do I have to buy it over once it's gone? I don't think I still have the activation code.

I have windows vista ultimate 64bit and have 3 sata hard drives and very important information on 2 hard drives and vista on the other one drive letter as c:/. When installing windows 7 will it format all hard drives or is it the same installation as vista and only formats the drive I select as C:/?
