    Saving some recalcitrant audio files

I'm gathering some lectures together. Some I am having a problem with. They have been uploaded to this horrible social media storage site >> Chirbit - Share your audio easily - Welcome!

The recordings have been embedded on another site BUT... you can only listen on line. No download option. Even if you go to the original site. They're not something copyrighted - it's just a low feature website.

Back in the dreamtime, in the days of XP, you could play the talk/music/video then 'go into' XP's memory and grab the file once it was played.

Any suggestions for a work around with Win7??

You could use an audio capture program, play them and capture them and save them to your hard drive.

All you need is "Stereo Mix" set as default recording device and a free recording program such a Audacity.

Not a bad idea it seems for a bloke who can't spell his username. These talks are 1.5 hrs + so I'll do one per over-night. God willing it'll be ready and waiting for me, come the morning. Thanks muchly.
