    no right channel audio

Hi, new user here at a loss.
So a few days ago I bought a new set of 2.1 speakers after the old ones died. At first everything was fine but today I noticed the right speaker wasn't outputting any sound. Fearing they already broke I hooked them up to an mp3 player and everything played, included the right speaker. After that, I plugged a pair of headphones into the front pc jack and that worked fine too. Then I plugged the speakers into the same headphone jack and remapped it as speakers in realtek manager. Again no sound from the right speaker.
Additionally, when I test the sound in windows control panel, not realtek, it plays the subwoofer as right channel and the left speaker as left. Testing the sound in realtek manager doesn't output anything for the right channel at all. I know the speakers work and it doesn't look like it's the mobo either. Any idea how I could fix this because I really don't know what's going on..

From your description, it has to be some wiring issue in the speaker system. You havent noted what the speaker system is (or the PC) so we have to guess. But in most 2.1 systems there is one cable to the PC (usually a green color jack) that connects to the bass speaker in the 2.1 system. Internally there are cables from the bass speaker to each of the other two speakers. If a cable is not fully inserted or not in the proper connection in the bass speaker that could be an issue.
