No sound on my computer
Hi! I have just restored my laptop computer with the set of restore disks that I have. At first, which was today, I played an audio file for the first time, and it worked. But now that I came home with the computer and back on the internet, there's no sound. I had the same problem before I restore the computer. Both times I was able to use Google Chrome's speech texter to type out things that I say, and it works fine.* *so for some reason, I have had no difficulty recording myself. And yet I and not able to get sound on my computer now. Do you think this is caused by hackers?I use Windows Defender as my antivirus. But one mistake I made in the past, was to use my laptop sometimes when sitting in a restaurant. I have read now that this is not safe. And what do you recommend that I do to get rid of this problem?**I ran the troubleshooter to try to fix the problem but it couldn't identify it.Should I use a password on this computer? And should we change hour name and password for getting on the Internet through or ISP?I have removed items I felt might be bloatware from my computer programs earlier today. I use CC cleaner. But still I have that problem of having no sound. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computer with Windows 7.
