HDMI Audio Drivers for Kaby Lake HD620

    Greetings.
Trying to set up w7 on a Kaby Lake HD620 system, but failed to get the HDMI Audio Driver (6.16.0.3200) that's included in the graphics package (4860) to install. Appreciate if anyone can kindly suggest how to get around this, or provide download links to versions that will work.
    Many thanks and best regards,

    Hi goopy,

Please edit your profile with ALL your system and hardware specifications. This is in your UserCP > Edit System Spec setup. It will help us to help you!

The tutorial below [Published by Brink and written by CyberZeus] will enable you to see ALL of your system information. There is also an option that will enable you to easily fill out your system specifications here at Seven Forums easier.

How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

I mentioned this in another of your threads.

    I hope this helps!

    Atak uses Driver Version: 21.20.16.4590.

Maybe compare the IntcDaud.inf from what I uploaded with what it says in your version.
You can use Winmerge or similar to do the comparison

Any and all your drivers should be on your motherboard disc.

Please post a shot of Device Manager with the sound section expanded.

Thanks SIW2. It's the same as the 3197 driver you posted earlier.
There's also a 2013 vintage 3131 version available on muc, also not working.

It appears ms has gone all out to ensure w7 is not to be used on kaby lake.

Check the thread here, see if anyone there has the answer

    this thread

He seems to using an older graphics card without any problem. Maybe that is the answer.

    Thanks for the link, SIW2.

    1. Looks like Mr Atak is also waging a one man campaign to keep w7 alive. Thumbs up to both of you.
    2. Mivas sesm to be mixing two sets of drivers components, but not very clear which are the ones to be switched before or after installation. Could you be kind enough to decipher what exactly he did?
    3. Sheehan had a HDMI audio issue, but there was no follow up. I was not able to locate the w7 4691 package he mentioned. Could you help?
    4. While I applaud the decision to offer w7 support for h310, aren't these MS's decision alone?

    Many thanks and best regards,
