Microphone constantly being listened
I decided to dabble in virtual audio cable, installed it and i used my logitech g430 adapter to make the 3.5mm jacks connect to a USB jack on my front panel.
As soon as i connected it , my microphone was being picked up and listened to constantly by my headphones . I tried to find the issue, realtek audio manager did not register the usb device ( headphones OR microphone ) and disabling the microphone in recording ( Sounds ) did nothing .
I just installed the virtual cable and never really messed with it since i had no idea how to do it.
All i wanted was to be able to hear sounds on my speakers, in ear headphones and my g430 headphones ( would love info if this is gonna be possible )
All my current specs are on my profile.
edit: i seem to have a problem here ... i think https://i.imgur.com/yMqdWjT.png i remember windows asking me for some sort of signature for the VAC , or something of that nature.
FINAL EDIT : i fixed it. Right click your sound icon ( bottom right ) , playback devices. Headphones, levels, mute the microphone there.
This is not how microphones work , but, i guess this is how it's gonna be. The device still works as intended and i no longer hear myself.
