Bluetooth headphones do not correctly pair and show up in audio device

I got a new Escape Platinum Bluetooth headset, and all the drivers installed, but it does not show up in audio devices. Also, the headset never confirms that it correctly paired, even if everything gets installed. When i turn off the headphones windows still insists they're connected as a keyboard (every windows does from 8+, but at least in those it also actually plays audio)

I can't find any information on why it refuses to pair, the dongle I'm using is a Broadcom BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Device
and the driver is not generic.

With the headset connected, go to Control Panel, Sound. Playback. Are they shown there? If not, what is selected?
