Found The Playback Tab. It wouldn't make a sound. Also when I went into Device Manager Sound,Video, and Game controllers I clicked on High Definition Audio,NVIDA High Definition Audio,NIVIDIA Virtual Audio Device, and WsAudio Device and it said all were working properly.

It has an ASRock P67 Extreme4Gen3 mother board . The Sys drive is a Samsung 850 Pro 1 TB SSD Intel I7 2700K processor.

The ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 board uses Realtek ALC892 audio.

Judging by your previous post, it appears you do not have Realtek High Definition Audio listed in Device Manager. Download & install the Realtek high definition audio driver for your board and reboot (be sure to choose Win7 64bit as your OS on the ASrock downloads page before downloading the Realtek audio driver)

what kind of sound card did you buy?

I guess the onboard audio for your ASRock board somehow stopped working altogether (aka. hardware problem, not a driver/software problem). I kinda had that happen with an old HP computer with an onboard Realtek ALC888s audio chip that suddenly stopped working and I replaced the motherboard rather than buy a 3rd party sound card.

When I had no sound, just before doing what others have suggested earlier, control panel - sounds; playback - test built-in or attached speakers; then to windows where a long long list of sound-makers are, test a few things. I'm sure OP's been there, done that. :)
