I don't know why my batch script didn't work, it has done for everybody else!

[1] I found this that I think might help => Troubleshooting audio issues.

[2] If the above doesn't help, I have checked the Lenovo website for a more upto date sound driver. It can be found here => Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit).

IMPORTANT: Create a manual System Restore Point BEFORE doing [2] above.

I hope this helps!

Paul I have tried everything bothing seem to work. I have had a thought six weeks ago I installed crucial 750 Gb SSD. I did not have a copy Of Lenovo win 7 home But I did have a back up usb. When i tried to install the back up the stick was unreadable. So I loaded win 7 ultimate an HP copy. Lenovo will not allow a recovery media down load for this unit because it is older than 2015. I think my laptop needs to load files from recovery This is just a thought.

MGADiag - Check If Your Version Of Windows Is Genuine

The MGADiag Tool provides detailed information about the Microsoft Genuine Advantage components and settings on your system. The MGADiag.exe can be used to analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing.

Download the MGADiag Tool [direct download] => MGADiag Tool. Run the MGADiag.exe and click Continue. It will immediately tell you if your version of Win 7 is Genuine or not.

The MGADiag Tool however, does not automatically create a log file. What you can do though, is either . . .

[1] Click the COPY button and PASTE the results into your post [preferable].
[2] Click the COPY button and PASTE the results into notepad and SAVE it. Then UPLOAD the file.

I hope this helps!

Hi valdarma77,

This is this thread so far . . .

[1] Headphones didn't work in Win 7, Win 8.1, Win 10.
[2] You reinstalled Win 7.
[3] No yellow triangles in Device Manager.
[4] They worked on a different laptop.
[5] Checked that the same files were on the laptop that worked and the laptop that doesn't.
[6] You ran MS_Info32_Find_Problem_Devices.bat and NO ERRORS were found.
[7] You went into the Device Manager and found that the Audio input and output files were missing.
[8] You downloaded and installed the Realtek HD Audio R2 82 driver but it didn't work.
[9] You tried running the Playing Audio/Devices troubleshooter but it didn't work.

There is a conflict with numbers 5 & 7!

I must admit, I am a bit confused now, especially considering the two quotes I posted in my previous post.

If you installed Win 7 on a Win 10 [5 months old] computer, you would have needed to include the appropriate drivers [USB, Motherbourd, Chipset etc]. This is because Win 7 doesn't natively support the newer type of hardware etc.

I hope this helps!

I have had my laptop checked and found it to be fine the fault could be when the laptop was produced software installed was preset which the engineer thinks had a section for the In/out driver to recognise for each service namely sound video etc so the audio out (headphones0 would need to be on a copy of windows from LENOVO the JBL speakers of which Dolby audio uses need something n .ot supplied by Microsoft only Lenovo that's his only reason he can see. normally WIn 7 loads drivers he says.

So you need the audio driver from Lenovo!

Out of interest, did you install the driver I posted in post #11? . . .
