Headphone not working

    Yes I tried that the error I got was not the right sysytem to runthis software so I went on to their sight and entered the sound and video version It came back no driver for that version

    Hi valdarma77,

    Have you taken the casing off and made sure that everything is fixed tightly [boards, leads etc]?

    I removed the botto cover to check the jack it is faulty but it is built into th mother board with wires to the sound card so i can't see how it can be exchanged. so i will close this now with may thanks to you paul I will not use headphones on this unit

    OK. That is a real shame because we have spent a lot of time on this trying to diagnose the problem. At least you know that the headphones do work and your OS is OK!

    Hi yes I know but withb the mainboard needing to be changed it is not worth it when I need to use the head phones I have my other laptop. This one though is set for gaming so I will use it for that Again your help you gave is greatly welcomed thank you.
