Mr Kings WMP N is not downloading to any place I can find, although other downloads show in tool bar box ASAP
so I backed out on a 3 clicks reboot and down load new 7 windows anything, thou i am sure it works often for the good Mr torch wood, to whom I still give great thanks.

I only have one request now, HOW do I rip out this whole bloated 7 movie player, cd ripper and put in a XP version that plays all formats, is that possible, I had added some format ex pander to my xp wmp and it played everything,

Mr. Torch wood do you know how to rip 7 wmp and install a XP and add a codec ex pander, the ex pander i used seemed to have an "ABC and movie file logo, and offered 3 levels of expansion of the WMP machine, that was invisible at level two but let you watch/play anything, instead of last being scene by friends and relatives in a science project.

Right now I have to go find where the hell WMP 7 put the cd's I ripped. cause i don't want "Lost In Gates land crap" slowing my machine and no I don't have a re install disk, because the bastard who sold me this machine charged extra for that service so he got your repete (worthless spell check) business

thanks for all your help, with out you ADMIN folks the world would explode
thanks for any wmp xp install help you might have.

PS VLC has real security issues

You could also use something like this-

CD Ripper Software. Easily Convert CDs to MP3 or WAV

There's a lot of for-pay software also but that one's free.

    Hi

do not remove your current WMP UNTIL you find your "RIPS"
If Wither2's program can find & ACCESS them, and your happy with it
    Change it to the default

    Then
    1) Turn Off the 3 Windows as in my previous screenshot
    2) use Revo uninstaller to remove any others on your system

Not really a media man so cant answer the XP question

You can get a windows 7 SP1 Iso download from Heidoc

This thread indicates the default location for files ripped by WMP 12-

Windows Media Player 12 - ripping - destination folder does not - Microsoft Community

Hello folks, Well the pic you posted never showed on my end, I think some of my filters are blocking it.
I have some how got wmp 12 to rip, at my will and not its will every time I just drop in a cd, which i think was accomplished by using the rip option and un clicking something that said rip when disk is inserted which was very irritating, but for a while it did not even auto rip if I put a cd in. my next quest will be to pull out 12 and put in 11, but that's another thread,

I simply don't have the time any more to "Know all this stuff" its become a very negative distraction, But i salute the admin and others who stay current, and must say this is a very responsive help site, and I was dog sick with flu as we did all this so that's another credit to you all

    THANK YOU

    Hi Jim,

    you get to features
Control panel >> programs & features >> features, top left hand corner.

    Roy

firstly, their is no features only as you first directed then corrected its "Programs and Features", shame on you, I was looking in F for features for about 2 days,

when i go to programs and features then features i only get a delete programs page.

but there is a "turn windows features on and off" please note the folks who need this info are gonna get thrown to the lions being guided with ABBREVIATIONS.

when i click that it goes to a page of box clicks, but none of the options in your photo are in it,

as a matter of fact WMP is not in there of any kind, mean while i have WMP loaded with a names inserted by me and all is says is when i click "Rip CD" is... windows media player can not rip one or more tracks

now on my old XP used to pull this crap and if i moved all songs to the box on the right, then played each one to some how "Register it" then they would rip.

if i ever get these not showing boxes clicked and "Restart the computer" ( had to goggle reboot to discover it meant shut down and re-start) do i just down load the WMP N from your site, cause my machine says it aseven "N" now.

so is there another way to find the WMP click off boxes, and no torchwood, i am not trying to drive you nuts, those click off boxes are not there

If you have Win 7 N, you need to install this to enjoy Windows Media Player-

    Maybe you already have it.

    1. I get a "this program is not applicable for this comp" when I install that program you suggested

    2. I at last -ticked the box that opens the tictable boxes for win media cent, wmp, and DVD Maker off

Then restarted computer and tried to download Mr. Kings WMP 12, after decoding his BLUE LETTER instructions, I found after some pages at windows WMP 12, down loaded and the file said

""this program is not applicable for this computer""

Now I have no wmp anything ZIP zilch --nothing.

Can some one here please take a real moment to help put my computer back together cause i I have deleted WMP everything and maybe a good start would be to show me just what machine is sitting on my desk, cause the MS site programs say I do not exist or they don't go in this machine

and please gentleman do please see, I do not have your background, so all these abbreviations and high lighted blue letters (is actually down load link) is gibberish to me, so now I cant even play a cd --Now What?
