In older days of ancient past, one could put the Service Tag number into a designated Dell web page and that would lead to unit specs, drivers, help stuff. sevenforum folks: Did that change over the years?

All of your drivers are here: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...-gx520/drivers

However, the computer only supports XP. You might be able to use the XP driver in Windows 7, but it may fail on installation. Your best course of action would be to buy a USB sound card which isn't much at all.

Your Dell OptiPlex GX520 has an Analog Devices ADI 198x Integrated Audio (SoundMAX) audio device.

There are Windows 7 SP1 drivers for it at the support site for the Dell OptiPlex 780.
    https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...e=optiplex-780 (32-bit)
    https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...e=optiplex-780 (64-bit)

It should work fine in your Dell OptiPlex GX520.

Now you'd think Dell would at least do us a solid and make mention of that ability on their download page.
