I purchased a win 7 64x Ultimate computer some 10 years ago. I recently had to format and reinstall programs.
I down loaded and installed 0009-64bit_Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282 file.
I can set Realtek as my default when I open Control Panel, and click Sound.
However, I do not have an icon on the desktop. I also thought I had 2 icons in the lower right tray. Now just one, click
the icon and the volume setting shows up.
Is it possible to obtain an icon in the desktop? Do I need a different realtek program?
Thanks

ps. I don't have the email when I first joined years ago, so I started a new account with my new email. I hope
I have not broken any rules.

I did some more work and found I have a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L motherboard
I went to Giga and downloaded this file and ran as administrator.
mb_driver_audio_realtek_azalia .
The driver works ok, but no
1. desktop icon
2. no icon in right bottom tray
Any ideas on how to create the two icons?
Thanks
