Realtek HD and P5N-D Microphone problem

Hello, i searched this forum for an answer but i didn't find any.
I run on Seven build 7000 but i can't get my microphone to work =s
I updated my Realtek drivers to R2.16 but nothing works.
My microphone is detected but it does not work, i tried to plug it on the front and rear.
I'm a little stuck and any help would be appreciated =p

    Thank you =)

Hi Tetsuya, i have this motherboard with build 7000 x64 Realtek HD audo drivers 6.0.1.5791 with similar problems. Open up realtek and choose mic. click on microphone boost and crank it up to +30.0 db. That fixed my problem with mic and i use Teamspeak, Skype and Xfire, but i could only get the headset to put out sound. I tried pluging in speakers to all of the outputs with no luck. Give me more specifics about your system and i will try to assist future.

It could be that the inputs are routed to to one input jack. This can be adjusted on the Realtek control panel to have separate inputs to individual jacks. :)

Thank you for your quick answer But i tried all that you said before and it didn't work xD.
In fact the sound works, i can listen to music and everything (so do my headphones) But my mic won't work oO i thought it was broken, but it worked on an other pc.
and for my system, i tried everything: in the control panel or in Realtek manager and this won't work oO and i tried the "separate input jacks" too.
I had same type of problems with vista before but they've been solved by installing the newest Realtek codecs.
