    My Mic went low all of a sudden


    Well when i plugged my headset in the front of my pc earlier today my mic was at the lowest, and for some reason i could not bring it up any higher, i dont know what happened, the other day it was working perfect. Im using on board as of right now. and my desktop mic is working fine, but my headset mic isnt..

    Have you checked your drivers? Update drivers: recommended links.

    there hasnt been an update on the asus website for a while.

    I have the same issue with an ASUS board but it has onboard CM6501 which c-media has not provided updated drivers and I am using "iffy" vista drivers. Mic worked well, then it is too low in teamspeak even though volume is up to 100 and boost is on. Plugged mic into wifes laptop with windows 7 and it works fine.

    I forgot how i fixed it but i got it back to normal, but what i did is i went out and bought a usb mic, logitech working like a charm

    but i just kept farting around with the settings till i got it how i wanted to get it again.

    Well,
    I think I fixed my mic issue with teamspeak. I simply make an exception with the firewall for TS2 and my mic instantly was louder to others. Weird, but I will take it.
