i'm using terratec phase 88 sound card under Windows 7 ultimate x64 OS....i installed vista x64 drivers but when i try to change buffer size in terratec control panel windows crushes(restarts)....does anyone know what seems to be a problem?does anyone know if there is driver for windows 7?
Asio is running stable on Foobar and Traktor 3
Even switching between buffer setting go fine.
Only settings to DMA buffer gives an error but sound still working.
DS and Wave sometimes give trouble.
But why on earth use DS
Don't lay your sounds into the hands of MS
Multichannel sound goes trough the spdif.
the onboard soundcard is for the system sounds and other non real music related software and routed into the terratec.
Driver version 5.51.03.142
ps i don't have a phase 88 but EWS88MT
Don't know if there are real differences.

I am considering to switch from WinXP to Win7, did You manage to find the proper (working) drivers (maybe 5.51 version works?) . If the card doesn't works with Win7 then I'll stick to my old XP
sorry, seomantor seems to have the same card, so You say Win7 & 88MT works fine in your case , where did you find 5.51 driver seomantor?

Hi All.
I'm trying to get my EWS88MT audio PCI card get work with win7 64bit (I can install 32bit version i needed).
May I ask how can I install PHASE88 (pretty much the same of EWS88MT) vista Drivers? right-click on the .inf file (downloaded with the link in the previous post) I get an error message saying "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation".
Installing from Device Manager doesn't work either.
The OP says it is using it, so it should be possible.
