Windows headset issue!

I have a logitech G330 headset and this headset is connected through my logitech keyboard g110.
The issue right here is that when i open a game like left 4 dead 2, the boost level on headset g330 goes up all the way to max by itself, making the headset impossible to hear. so i have to go manually in control panel/sound/recording tab/mic/ and bring down the boost level myself.
anybody knows whats the issue here?

What happens when you connect the headset to a USB port directly on the computer?

Bluetooth headset issue
Hopefully someone will be able to help solve this, because I am stumped. I bought a rocketfish USB bluetooth adapter almost a year ago now. I also got a Motorola H15 bluetooth headset at the same time. Everything worked fine in XP and even when I had W7 RC, I used the headset as a mic for...

Headset Issue
Hi, I have a headset/mic and a set of speakers, I have my speakers plugged into Front Speaker port and headset into rear, on XP this worked fine as I could use both at once or turn off the speakers and just use my headset, it appears in Windows 7 this isn't the case. I have the latest Realtek...
