KX Audio Drivers [emu10k1]
I'd just like to tell anyone who has a sound card based off the emu10k1 chipset that Creative had discontinued driver support for the cards as of Vista. They release new drivers but a lot of the sound was botched intentionally (or so the rumors go). That's why if you install propriatery drivers you get too much bass or crackeling? If that sounds familiar you know what I'm talking about, well then you might want to try out the KX Audio drivers (both 32bit and 64bit). They are much more configurable than the original Creative/Windows drivers and work very well. I have used them both for 32bit and 64bit, I posted a link in the other drivers section but I'm going to post this here as well, if you want to move my other link I'm sorry for posting it in the section I did. Anyways I'm just typing this so people will know that Creative has no intentions of ever picking up support for the emu10k1 chipset.
Full list of supported drivers (note 64bit is BETA support may be limited):

Known issue with 64bit is the kmixer works in Vista compat, but I'm fine with that because audio runs 100% smooth. Also it has autodetection for the audio jacks wich is VERY glitchy so I would recomend Wave Out 4/5 for stereo on 64 bit (green next to black), and plug it in before you reboot. Once you boot if you change the plugs it might lock up, hopefully that changes on the newer builds. You might be able to get surround working, I didn't test it and don't know what Wave Out it is so have fun if you test it!
