I would hope so, a while back I noticed one of the Windows "optional" updates was related to fixing an audio problem afterthe computer comes out of sleep mode.

It looks like I installed it but have never tested it.

I'd gone through all of the optional installs and read the descriptions.
It could also be related to the driver itself but I'm betting it's a Windows problem.

Some windows update...
And still, my sound is always corrupted after a while back from sleep or hibernate mode.
My friend have the same laptop, and no problem.

Maybe it's because I once installed "SRS Audio Sandbox" and uninstall it then when I realized my laptop is already "SRS" (it's written "SRS Premium Sound" on my laptop skeaker).

But, I reinstalled my sound driver, and the problem is still there.
Any idea?

Thanks,
Patrick

hey, I discovered this problem when I installed 7 on my new laptop (new to me) I like to sleep to conserve battery and disabling it isn't an option. What I found is if you pause/stop your internet station/WMP before hibernating then it will play fine when you resume windows. (also, sorry for necro-post, I just found this problem irritating and went searching for an answer and found it myself, so I thought I'd share for everyone else

I don't use pandora or last.fm.

Now the problem gets back and haven't hibernated or sleeped.
