Hi. No actually, as I explained in my original post, one of the first things I did was change it to "do nothing" but it didn't respond at all.

So you did, thanks for clarifying...

It's a moot point now but...

Even though you checked the Normalize Volume in Realtek, there is (possibly) a related setting you can get to by using the Microsoft speaker icon on the task bar. Right click, select playback devices, select your default output device, select properties, look at the enhancemenats tab. There's an entry called Loudness Equalization... you would think it would be the same Normalize function in the RT driver control panel, but these are audio drivers, so you never know.

I actually have problems with my sounds. The front panel microphone and headset/speaker jack are not working since Windows 7 was installed. I could not hear sounds at all. If I plug my speaker on the rear jacks, hearing closely, the sound actually has a few buzzing and if I plug the headset directly to the rear headset/speaker jack, the sound is a more quiet than usual. I had to plug my headset into the speakers but I could only adjust the sounds to "CD Quality" cause higher sound qualities will produce more of the buzzing sounds. I tried installing the Realtek HD Audio driver that came with my motherboard's setup CD but it fails to get installed.
