    OK,
Y'all intrigued me, so I pulled out the manual. I have all those parts. Its just possible I attached the vid cards little jumper to the wrong mobo header. I "THINK" I put it on the "IN" when it should be on the "OUT". I got a dongle with each vid card....................

    Stormy,
You are absolutely correct in your method. I was plug to the right SPDIF header but at one point I switched the Primary pci-e slot to the lower one in case. That card was running cooler because it had more room to breathe. I left the jumper wire connected to the upper card. In SLI. So moving to the card where the HDMI is plugged was the answer! Had know clue till this thread!
    TY

Unfortunately for me this computer does not deal with the HDMI as the older one. Will not allow my game to load, 1080i res is at 30Hz refresh rate and to big for screen. It insists on a 1280x720 res for 60Hz at 720p, which still will not fit screen. Older puter allowed for desktop resize so I could use 1080i @ 60Hz and ran the game. Older puter uses a GTX 8800 SC. Bleepin waste of my time all tho I did learn something.

    Thought it would work.

For the scaling can't help as I don't have a Nvidia card anywhere at the moment. Might be a good idea to start a new thread in the Graphics Card forum and see what they have to say.
