Can't install 32 bit iTunes in 64 bit Windows 7

I haven't had this problem before, but all of a sudden...

I have iTunes 9 on my 64 bit Windows 7 laptop, but it won't open because the file iTunes Library.itl was made with a newer version of iTunes 9 (from different computers). BUT, I can't install the newer version of iTunes because Windows 7 refuses to install the 32 bit version of iTunes (there isn't a 64 bit version). I don't understand why, it let me install iTunes before...

What can I do to win this one?

    Thanks, Noels

64 bit itunes: Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now (2nd option left hand side)

odd it won't let you install it though, last time i used it (which was about 6 months ago admittedly) it just "recommended" the 64 bit version, didnt insist on it

Wow, thanks - I never saw that. I did do a search on the Apple site but came up empty. Goes to show ya... I appreciate your help,

    Martin,

I installed it with no effort or harassment and it picked up all my music that I had previously stored on the machine.

So, I'm good to go - Thanks again to you, Noel
