    [SOLVED] 2 sound cards but not really


    Hi,

    Today I moved my audio card to the bottom slot away from the GPU. I come back onto windows and see screen shot it says 2 infront of the audio card name why, I only have one. I cannot here anything in Itunes, I can hear some YouTube videos and some videos

    any ideas

    This is because it is the second installation of the same video card. I have the same label on my SB X-FI USB 5.1 card. It's nothing to worry about.

    Well I can only hear certain sounds the rest are just really bassy banging sounds its really odd

    Uninstall the device drivers, then reinstall the drivers. Then see what happens.

    Edit: also this may sound very stupid, but once I plugged the speakers into the wrong ports on my soundcard, and got exactly that, although I doubt you just did that..

    Ive tried a resinstall, doesnt do anything. Im using headphones and speakers so Im sure everything is plugged in the right place lol

    Its odd I can some perfect sound though

    I properly done something even more stupid. I had the speakers set up for 7.1 thats why it would come out all bassy its all ok now lol
