    X-Fi 32&64bit Driver Issue?

Has anyone recently downloaded either the 32 or 64 bit driver from creatives website? Says it was released April 24th and won't pass its own CRC check when it goes to unpack it. I downloaded it with two different browsers, assured the cache was flushed, etc...

I had to install the Vista 64 driver in Vista SP1 compatibility mode. Which seems to work sometimes, other times not.

Just curious if anyone has had the issue or had the install work with the NEWEST release from Creative.

    (I'm running build 7100)

    UPDATE

I read through the Forums on Creative's website and it looks like it's now a known problem.

I re-downloaded them today and it installs correctly. If anyone else has the issue, redownload the driver set or wait a few days and redownload it.

yes i had that problem and I even contacted creative support with less than desired response.

I found this one on MU and it works perfectly well. Seems to have both 32-bit and 64-bit support.

Thanks. where did this one come from? The file looks newer than the one released by Create on their website today.
