    Keep Audio Settings

I just got a Windows 7 computer and have a question. Is it possible to save your SRS audio settings ? I get them set up just like I like them, but when I plug in then unplug some headphones, the audio settings go back to default. Is there a way to tell the computer to use one setting for headphones and then use the settings for the computer speakers that I want to use ? Thanks.

The only way to do that is if your computer recognizes the difference between the two devices. If you use different ports for each device, it should do it automatically. For example, my X-FI USB system has a side port for headphones/microphone-in and back ports for left/right/rear/center/sub. The way that my system works is that if something is plugged into the headphones port, it takes over the sound. However, if you're using the same port then you're probably not going to differentiate that way. Your best bet is to create two different profiles within your sound options and save them both. Then just write a batch file or shortcut to execute one or the other on command.

I don't know what that means. I have a headphone port on the left side. That's it. I get my sound the way I want it while using the computer speakers. When I plug in headphone then unplug them when I'm done, I have to put my sound settings back to where they were because they go back to default.
