    no sound at all altough installed corectly


    hello im using Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H (Realtek ALC889A)

    with win 7 32bit

    al drivers installed corectly, but i dont get any sound
    it used to work or at the speakers i have plugged(3.5 jack)
    or thrugh hdmi cabel conected to my tv, it used to change from time to time without me being able to choose witch output to use

    2 days ago sound stoped working,i re installed the OS after trying all i could

    and no after reinstalling to OS (win7 32bit) i dont know what to do more
    when im playing a song i can see the sound played grapicly(the green line is jumping to the sound levls)
    but get no sound at all bot thrugh the speakers or thrugh the t/v

    please help,and forgive me for my bad english...

    Hi and welcome.
    Taking what you said is correct and true it may be your motherboard sound chip having a problem. Have no other ideas other than if it is a new motherboard get it replaced.
    I also Googled you no sound for your MB and it seems others have the same issue but I couldn't find any final solution. Sorry.
