    No sounds when playing Flv Videos


    Hi everyone, I have a Problem!!!! When I try to play FlV (Flash) Videos on My PC, there is no sound, only the video. Ive Noticed that it happened when i've installed Windows 7 Codecs 1.3.4. can someone help me? please

    What player are you using. Suggest you uninstall the codec pack, then try the following.

    1) Use VLC. VLC will play flv out of the box, no extra software needed.

    2) If you want to play them in MPC, you'll need FFDShow.

    3) If you want to play them in WMP, then in addition to FFDShow, you'll need an FLV splitter. You can download Gabest.

    I would suggest you first diagnose your PC audio, then if everything is alright, try VLC. After that you can try out the other options.

    What tool or app did you use to download the .flv? It could be a setting with that tool or app.
