Record what you hear; a new problem

    Hey 7forum lovers!

A couple of months ago i managed to do the record what you hear thing on windows 7 but afterwards was forced to format my C:/ and reinstall windows 7. I didnt do the re-installing myself but my computer manufacturer did.

Now, when i click on "show disabled harware" or whatever it was, i do not have the record what you hear thing. No hardware has changed.

    Thanks everyone.

First check the driver by going into device manager (type device manager in search). go to the audio tab and make sure your driver is listed and does not have a yellow triangle on it.

    Let us know the results

Under the Sound, Audio and game controller there was no triangle.

Which do you have, an Integrated Audio system (e.g. RealTek or IDT) or do you have a SoundBlaster sound card? "What You Hear" is what SoundBlaster calls "System Mixer". Thus if you have Integrated Audio you should be looking for "System Mixer".
