    sound card issue


    can anyone tell me ?why speaker is not working ?meanwhile microphone is working .
    i am using hp laptop.kindly let me know the idea.any help would be highly appreciated.

    maybe filling your system specs and telling us you laptop model can help us to help you. I believe this a problem with sound driver. :)

    What laptop are you using ?? What is the model of it ??

    Edit: I found two Audio Drivers that might work for you

    Conexant HD-Audio SmartAudio 221 Driver Compaq Presario V3713TU Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (Singapore - English)

    Conexant Audio Driver (32-bit) Compaq Presario C300EA Notebook PC - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English)

    try downloading the sound driver from HERE. It says vista,but it maybe works with seven too

    edit: install the driver in compatibility mode. right click the installer>properties>compatibility mode>vista.

    for your toshiba. you can download your driver from here and here

    In any case if the drivers for windows seven is not available. you can try installing it in vista compatibility :)

    i have downloded and tried to install but fail.This is also not working.i am using u300 model of toshiba laptop.and microprocessor is x86.kindly let me know the idea.
