New S/C recommendation for W7 (64Bit) (Music Producer Only)

    Hey guys,

I have an onboard soundcard at the moment which is the Realtek ALC888, I seem to be having alot of problems with it, like I can't record voice clips from the soundcard etc... I don't think there is nothing I can do, I even contact the Realtek company, and they don't even support me!

I'm looking to buy a music producing sound card that will have no dramas on Windows 7 (64Bit), internal sound card prefably. Does anyone know what should I get?

I'm looking to spend around $200-300AUD.

I use a Soundblaster Audigy external USB card just for basic recordings of DJ sets. It's a descent card and have never had problems with the drivers on an x64 platform.

Here's a reputable company that I have purchased through before located in Australia. There's some pretty high end cards, but also a few in your price range. Have a look.
