Rocketfish 5.1 Surround Sound Card / Volume issues

Hello, I been using the Rocketfish 5.1 surround sound card for quite some time now, and just last month or so it just stoped working if I dont use the matrix mode all the speakers work. But I constantly have to turn the levels of each speaker up in the sound settings and when I do that it max's out my volume so therres a conflict somewere, I cannot use the matrix mode anymore eithier. Any fix's? I'm running windows 7 ultimate

If you haven't yet start with uninstalling and re-installing the driver.

I would say also try with an updated driver,

    Rocketfish - Rocketfishâ„¢ 5.1-Channel PCI Sound Card

If that doesn't work you can also try the reference Creative driver,

Creative Worldwide Support > X-Fi Xtreme Audio

as that Rocketfish card is nothing more than a re-named version of the X-Fi Xtreme Audio. May not work though if the DevID for your card isn't in the INF, and if it isn't it can be added manually which should get it installed.

How can I add it manually? I have low audio again Sometimes my audio is fine and sometimes my audio is low like now. I'm not even sure if the drivers install properly because I can't launch the software that comes with it
