Do you mean it plays through both the speaker AND the headphones?

How did you fix the issue the first time it happened?

No, it doesnt play through both speaker and headphones, normally it plays through headphones alone, but when you test the headphones in {control panel-Hardware and sounds-manage audio devices} , it sounds through the speaker, and when the speaker is tested instead it sounds through the headphones, but the speaker is the default device, while the headphone is the default communication device(the headphone has microphone joined together). The last time, i just kept inserting and removing the speaker cord,in-case it was the jack, then used the sound troubleshooter, and it worked. I am nt sure if thats what maked it work any way. tanx, plz need help
