    Headphones problems/audio


    Hi there, I have a problem with windows 7 ; Well When I plug in my headphones into my pc I cannot hear nothing such as " Video/music etc... " I've tried to Troubleshooter w/e it gives me 2 options " install Speakers or Headset " but I want both of them to be installed. So if you guys know how to fix these problem please reply to this topic.

    Hi there, what is the make of your soundcard? Can you post a screen shot of Device Manage and with Sound, Video and Game controllers expanded please if possible! Sounds like you need to get manufacture drivers! :)

    I don't know if this is your problem but: I have had this problem with a computer before and it drove me nuts, until I figured it out. The jack for headphones/speakers on the computer is ONLY active, if you plug in your headphones/speakers BEFORE the computer is POWERED on. Try shutting down your computer completely. Plugging in your headphones/speakers then powering the computer on.

    I hate that some manufactures build computers like this. UGH!
