MPC audio static and picture probs.

hi im useing media player classic to play mkv files, i also have ffdshow and haalii media splitter installed. the only sound i get is a harsh static sound from mpc, it worked fine yestaday and i have changed no settings, windows media player works ok.i have a sony vaio with ati graphics, i did a complete win 7 custom reinstall to try and fix it but it is still the same help is mch appreciated.

might be most common reply but maybe you haven't tried yet, disable Aero then work from there, or we could help from there. that fixed my problems but i'm still trying to find a way to use Aero and ffdshow+other things that have problems

i installed ffdshow again and it works fine now, what is the issue with aero descktop? thanks for reply.

When I pause any audio on my PC I always hear weird noise, like a mosquito, it's so annoying. If you mute - sound disappears, but the more volume you put the louder it is. Any one had similar problems? Or this just means that i need a better audio card?
