    DEP problem

    Hello.

Since a day or 2, If I want to close my Windows Explorer 7, a messages pops up saying there is an error with closing it. DEP got activated in some way. This annoys me quite a bit since now I have to close every Internet screen with Task management. (sorry I'm not english, don't mind the spelling). Can anybody help me with solving this problem? I've tried diffrent ways. But it keeps ignoring.

    Did I downloaded something bad?

    Thanks!

If I want to close Internet it says: Internet Explorer doesn't work anymore. And they're looking for a solution. The program will closed and you'll get a message if there is one.

Then down below a message from DEP pops up saying that, Internet got closed Internet to protect my computer even more.

So Internet is still open and just cannot close it normally.

Do you have the Google toolbar?, If you do, disable it and see if the problem goes away.

Also, have you scanned with an Anti-virus program?

Try doing a system restore to a point before the problem started and see if that doesn't help...
