SPTD.sys driver isn't a bad thing ... if you have it
(sptd) sptd [Kernel | Boot | Running] -> C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\sptd.sys

As long as you have the newest version, there should be no problems, however the earlier versions have been problematic and were known to cause BSOD crashes...
