I would also use Super Anti Spyware. MAM doesn't do spyware.

Well, full scans with Malwarebytes and NOD32 come up clean, so I'm probably ok...

This is harmless. I got the pop-up when I booted up this afternoon, and it was to do with the installation of the Microsoft Intellitype 8.0 keyboard driver.

That don't sound proper to me. Why would Microsoft have a driver or update for a Microsoft keyboard that wasn't signed or in proper working order.

The vendor hardware id in the popup message is 1002. Thats ATI. I guess you have an ATI gfx card and the popup message is coming from that. Maybe you changed some setting or startup, in any case I dont think theres malware involved here. Try reinstalling/ updating the catalyst driver.

There's no indication that the driver wasn't signed (at least in my case). My popup was very similar to the OP's, and when I clicked on the link to check the certificates everything was signed by Microsoft.

That PCI device string is for an ATI Radeon 4200 - if the OP has a 4200, this could be legit. If not, then it's suspect. That would be how I'd start approaching it. Since the OP hasn't entered his system specs, we can't know for sure.
