    Ditched Kaspersky for MSE

Now my internet seems to run a little bit slower. Videos load slower.

    Any ideas?

As much as I would like to agree with many people when saying that something like MSE should not slow your system down if you have enough RAM. I disagree.

I can tell a significant difference in system responsiveness when using different security applications. I am not advocating you use one app over another but if it bothers you that it slows your system down, you may want to experiment with other apps.

I went from MSE to Avast 5 and its day and night difference in performance.

    Hi, EchoX860.

It may help to follow up the uninstall with the Kaspersky Removal Tool. Info and download link here: Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab products.

Kind of have to agree with that assessment. Coming from the opposite - Avast to MSE, I can tell the noticeable lag with MSE. Although I will say from my current moment of time with testing it, MSE has notified of a couple things Avast doesn't even pick up. Best to try out a few separately, see what suits you best.

It doesn't slow my PC down at all, just loading videos.
