    AntiVirus problems.

    Hi there.

About 2 days ago. My Nod32 2010 (i think) ran out. i had 90 day till it finishs and after i have to sub. anyways.

When my nod32 finished i uninstall my nod32 off my windows 7 system. when i tryed to add Bitdefender 2010 this error kept coming up telling me that i should get assists off a IT Technician.

i dont have the screenshot atm. but once i go home i will put up a picture of the problem.

Sorry that i cant explain much. im in college atm and i dont have a picture to say 1000 words..

I advice you to get rid of BitDefender and install Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). It's a basic yet proven FREE antivirus solution for Windows 7 users. Almost all people here in the forum highly recommend and use MSE. It's lightweight and uses very less system resources and most of all it's very effective. :)

    P.S. Wrong forum.

    NOD32 doesn't have a 2010 version.

Anyhow, uninstall it and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

    True.

According to him, his license ran out so he decided to uninstall NOD, with the intention of replacing it with BitDefender. When he was about to install, an error comes up. The same thing happens to MSE. Let's just wait for the OP to post a screenshot of the error. :)

You might actually have a virus/malware preventing installation. So, we shall wait for screenshot, but be read to do a scan. If possible install Malwarebytes and do a full scan.
