    Registry Permissions HELP!!!

Ok I really don't understand this!! Why is it that subinacl.exe works on my version of Win 7 Home Premium and yet not on other people's Win 7 Home Premium?? Also, the files that I downloaded from this site to set the uac levels work fine on my machine (OS) but open something totally different on someone else's machine with the same OS version. What is happening? I am trying to create a program that searchs the registry for stubborn reg keys and I am really losing it here because nothing is consistent. Please help.
    Thanks so much.

Can you explain the situation a little clearer? You are developing a program in what language? Scripted or high-level language?

Why is it that subinacl.exe works on my version of Win 7 Home Premium and yet not on other people's Win 7 Home Premium??
Could be a lot of reason's there. User permissions is the most obvious that comes to mind.

Also, the files that I downloaded from this site to set the uac levels work fine on my machine (OS) but open something totally different on someone else's machine with the same OS version.
What site are you referring to? And two different computers, although they have the same OS, does not mean that the environment is identical.

I am trying to create a program that searchs the registry for stubborn reg keys and I am really losing it here because nothing is consistent.
What do you mean by stubborn registry keys?
