    when you post about an offer like above, you should also post a WARNING about McAfee.....

    otherwise less informed people might actually install it...

    the only drawback for me was i had just over two months left of a three month macafee 2010 trial, so i dl'd and installed and oops its an older software ,actually it is the one i get free from BT, macafee anti virus plus
    and i dont use the free one from BT as i found it slow .
    So i now have Norton2011 90 day trial, see how that goes i will then try MSE and see what the fuss is about,
    Ah well at least i finally got round to signing up for face book

    boohbah: if you are going to try MSE, then try v2-beta, it works very well, no real problems detected.

    I had no problems with it, except its RAM usage.

    At idle: around 85 MB.
    During quick scan: around 150 MB.

    Now that's huge. My PC is without an anti virus ATM, thinking which to install.
