Best All In 1 Virus Protection

I have 30 days until my Norton 360 is up.

I'm looking for a Paid/ Free (Preferably paid as i believe there better) All in one Virus and Malware protection, similar to Norton 360.

It needs to be simple to use and protect my PC at the earliest threat.

I don't want to use MSE. I've always been a Norton kid and think it may be time for a change. I am sort of a n00b when it comes to Protection lol.

I have been looking at this website AntiVirus Software Review 2011 - TopTenREVIEWS and comparing them.

    Honest opinions please.

There is no "best" antivirus all AVs have pros and cons, its just a matter of personal choice

I love NIS 2011 (in fact all NIS versions from 2009 onwards). Its light and does a great job.

I have read through this. In terms of best, i mean like the most popular one the users pick. And why is this.

    Thanks

As was said, there is no "best". But NIS is very good. I use it on 3 systems without any problems. On 3 other system I use MSE which seems to do the job too (with one exception late last year). Here are some up-to-date reviews - if you care to go by that: AntiVirus Software Review 2011 - TopTenREVIEWS

Kaspersky PURE is the only suite, I know of, that would come close to the features in Norton 360.

What features in Norton 360 do you use that are not in Norton Internet Security?

More and more vendors are releasing products like Norton 360. I've just found G Data Total Security, Panda Global Protection, Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security and BitDefender Total Security.

Most of the features of PC Tune Up can be found in Windows itself and in products like the free CCleaner. Is having everything automated in one place worth the extra cost to you?

If not, if you shop around, sometimes you can find Norton Internet Security 2010 at great prices (you can install NIS2011 with an NIS2010 subscription). Or, you'll have more choice of which vendor to switch to.

I have DiskMax and CC Cleaner - Great, useful programs.

I think i'll have a look into Bit-defender. I have herd allot of people use this. (So IMO, must be up to standards if others are using it)

    Thanks, you have been repped

It doesn't matter what others use. You really need to research this yourself and make an informed decision. The most popular isn't always the best.
Bit-defender performs well and is a good choice.
